Our bridge is the newest connection between our growing Commercial District and our Residential area from Perkins Road. Over the next few months as we complete the infrastructure, the lake will begin to fill and our waterfront will begin to take shape.

The multifamily component will feature 280 high-end, condo-grade units with 1, 2 and 3-bedroom floorplans and will trigger the development of more than 15,000 square feet of retail space. The project will be positioned directly across the street from the new Sprouts Grocery Store and adjacent to our planned waterfront restaurant district.

The Oak District is a collection of 17 single-family residential lots that are uniquely positioned near the site for the new East Baton Rouge Neighborhood Library and the Rouzan Commercial Town Center. The new East Baton Rouge Neighborhood Library has recently announced the architect who will lead the design development for this highly anticipated addition to our community.

The library will become the central civic space in Rouzan — designed to offer a place for a wide variety of community programming, including outdoor classrooms, recreation and meeting spaces. 

One of the newest commercial additions, the Shops at Glasgow will create an engaging retail and neighborhood office component. It is in the design phase and will likely break ground this Summer.
